PhD Work: Drivers and Variability of Ocean Carbonate Chemistry Near Hawai‘i

My PhD was at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with Dr. Christopher L. Sabine.

I worked as a research assistant for the Hawaiʻi Ocean Time-series at Station ALOHA and on four NOAA PMEL/UHM coral reef MAPCO2 mooring sites

My dissertation work focused on disentangling natural and anthropogenic drivers of ocean carbonate system variability at Station ALOHA and in coral reefs.

I spent more than 130 days at sea and logged 89 research dives.
